Go Puppy, Go!
Next class begins on Saturday, July 10th at 2pm. Classes are held at Integrative Veterinary Service.
Socialization
Puppies will have the opportunity to share space and interact with other puppies and new people. We’ll address building relaxation in novel spaces, safe play skills, and understanding basic dog body language and behavior.
Conditioning
We’ll begin conditioning puppies to cope with changes in their environment, novel objects, new sights and sounds, and comfort with husbandry and handling for future grooming and veterinary care.
Proprioception
Body awareness and physical confidence are vital when supporting the positive growth and development of puppies. In class we’ll introduce new surfaces, platforms, and balance equipment for the puppies to interact safely with.
Basic Life Skills
During class we’ll begin to build the foundations for life skills such as recall, loose-leash walking, and relaxation around distractions.
An Ounce of Prevention
In class we’ll discuss puppy management and proactive training methods with the goal of setting puppies up for success.
Tricks, Play, and Fun
Fun and games are essential to training and relationship building! In class we’ll dive into how to play, training useful tricks, and why fun matters.
Registration: Puppies must be between 8-16 weeks of age to enroll. Proof of up-to-date vaccination for DHPP and Bordetella is required prior to attendance. Go Puppy, Go! is a 6-week class, each session lasts between 45-60 minutes. Email to enroll.
Connection + Communication

Parents and their dogs will learn how to work together to build a solid foundation of understanding and trust,
Communicate
We’ll begin to develop a system of communication that allows our dogs to understand what to expect during training. Clear communication allows for less stress, lower frustration levels, and fewer errors during the learning process.
